VP of Sales

Objective of the Role:

The VP of Sales is responsible for establishing and implementing the strategic sales plan, that will enable sales growth and help achieve the company’s goals, while assuring customer satisfaction and living up to the company’s values.

Main responsibilities:

  • Define annual goals for the sales force based on the strategic sales plan.

  • Evaluate the current sales activities to identify areas of strength and assess those activities that must be improved to meet the demands of current sales, as well as future growth.

  • Decide and state sales team budgetary allocations for optimal functioning and performance.

  • Define the strategic route to follow for the achievement of its objectives.

  • Establish incentives/accelerators to help reach the sales goals.

  • Coordinate sales forecasting, budgeting, planning, and process optimization.

  • Monitor and ensure high levels of accuracy, quality, and process consistency in the sales force initiatives are maintained.

  • Continually monitor technological changes, market trends, competitive products/pricing, and be a key participant in identifying the products to be developed and channeled to the marketplace.

  • Coordinates and define the constant training of sales team in order to ensure optimal performance of the sales force.

  • Responsible for all sales and retention KPIs of the organization.

  • Build and lead a highly motivated and productive teams (Local and remote).

  • Participe in the determination, support and implementation of company's strategy.

  • Lead and participate in business review meetings.

  • Work with different areas like Finance, Product, Delivery and Marketing to maximize the value of the company.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. 

  • Network with industry leaders and build relationships to facilitate expanded sales opportunities.

  • Effectively communicate the company's value proposition through presentations.

Requirements: 

  • 8+ years of proven experience in SAAS, cloud or subscription services in a senior sales position.

  • Proven ability to drive the sales processes from conception to implementation 

  • Proven ability to articulate the different aspects of products and services

  • Proven ability to position products against competitors

  • Building or modifying sales structures

  • Exponentially growing the portfolio of clients and projects

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English 

  • Ability to communicate and influence all levels of the organization

  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Making high-level executive presentations for partners, clients and investors

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred 

  • Startup experience is a plus
